The Regional Labor Court approved administrative collection proceedings carried out by the Ministry of Health, for the recovery of hospitalization fees of debts of NIS 304,000, against the estate of a deceased, who was hospitalized at the Geriatric Government Hospital in Rishon Letzion.
The Regional Labor Court rejected the estate’s claims and determined that the Ministry of Health is entitled to collect the debt through administrative collection procedures in accordance with the Tax (Collection) Ordinance.
An appeal filed at th National Labor Court was rejected, and it was determined that the estate of the deceased will bear the payment of hospitalization fees of NIS 300,000.
